How often should you turn on your central heating during the summer?

Central heating should be turned on at least once a month in the warmer summer months, just to allow the hydraulic components to fire up and get moving.

Inactivity is one of the biggest causes of boiler and home radiator malfunctions. Even switching them on for 10 minutes every four weeks or so during summer can make a monumental difference.
