What is a dual fuel towel rail?

FAQ banner image

A dual fuel towel rail can most simplistically be defined as a heated towel rail which connects to both the mains electricity and central heating system within a property.

Standard heated towel rails will warm up in line with central heating being switched on, and therefore emit heat as the rest of the house is being heated at the same time. By contrast, dual fuel towel rails can operate separately from other devices via an electricity supply.
