How do Type 11 radiators work?

FAQ banner image

Type 11 radiators work via the filling of hot water from a boiler or central heating supply. This water enters a single metal panel, usually with a steel construction, and distributes heat with the help of ‘fins’ on the back of the panel.

Although Type 11 convector radiators provide a lower heat output than double or triple panel versions, they are still capable of delivering an impressive heat output with the help of convector fins.
