Can you use bleach on a radiator?

FAQ banner image

It is not advisable to use bleach on your home radiators, or any solution that contains corrosive chemicals. The likes of bleach can cause significant damage to a radiator and shorten its lifespan.

Especially in the case of coloured radiators, the application of bleach could lead to irreversible damage and fading to the surface of the appliance. An alternative, safer means for cleaning solutions while protecting your radiators is to use diluted white vinegar mixed with water.
