How does a dual fuel heated towel rail work?

FAQ banner image

A dual fuel heated towel rail works via the central heating system in a property as well as an included electric heating element.

This element can be added to the component with a T-piece adaptor, which allows the user to add a heating element whilst the towel rail is plumbed into the central heating system at the same time.

Differentiating from ‘standard’ heated towel rail, dual fuel devices will successfully work without a central heating system. In operating through an electrical supply only, they can warm up on their own, separate from alternate components that require power from a central heating system – making them ideal for use in summer months, when you only want warm towels and not a warm house.
