It will typically cost between £10,000 and £10,500 to install an air source heat pump in a UK property*.
However, from April 2022 and beyond, homeowners in the UK and Wales can claim a £5,000 government grant to offset much of this cost when fitting an air source heating system.
Just how much the air source heat pump fitting will cost will be dependent upon the size of the building it needs to heat.
Furthermore, you might have to account for an extra outlay to upgrade your heat distribution system, or purchase additional home radiators or heated towel rails, if required.
