For me what sets BestHeating apart is the web page. I can tell my customers to go look at the selection on there, choose something, pay for it and arrange a delivery to suit.

I’d have no issue recommending the radiators from BestHeating as they’ve always been spot on and the customer has always been happy.

I’d say it’s dependent on where I’m working, not everyone can afford the designer radiators but I’d say those that can are getting them more.

It’s like most things in life, you have to pay more for something nicer. If it’s something that you’re going to look at and appreciate I’d say then it’s worth the extra cost.

I think they can certainly add an aesthetic value to the property but not everyone has the same tastes.

Personally my favourite range is the Milano Windsor, classic white column radiators always look great to me.

My tip would be to make sure the radiator is correctly sized for the area it’s going in, over or undersized radiators are far too common.

I have been installing your radiators for years and have never had any problems. I always direct my clients there as I believe they’re good value for money and they always seem happy too!

Yes, I’d recommend your products and trade scheme.

Yes, getting more request for designer radiators from customers.

Yes, I think it offers value for money because they look a lot better than your standard radiators.

Yes, I think it would definitely add value to a property. As there more desired.

My favourite range is the vertical column style as they complete the look (modern house).

All depends on what the clients style is like and their home.

We love the range of products you offer and it is especially useful being able to direct customers to your website in order for them to choose a style and gain inspiration.

The order process is easy and delivery to site is prompt and seamless.

Designer radiators are definitely becoming more popular. Customers often request them and there is a real trend emerging. They are suited in the more modern home as well as the more traditional.

Our favourite range is the Milano Windsor range. It creates a luxe feel to a home and is the perfect mix of modern and traditional. We especially love the anthracite colour.

iPlumbYorkshire’s top tip is to use an online BTU calculator to work out the heat required for the room and work out a radiator size to suit.

Without a doubt. If any customer is enquiring about designer radiators – BestHeating is the first and only company I suggest

I would say we are occasionally getting more requests for designer radiators, but this is purely down to different clientele.

Difficult question. The fact you can get a normal radiator for less which does the same job I’d say no, but I would say a designer radiator would possibly add value or at least a sense of value.

Do you believe that designer rads can add to the value of a home/how potential buyers may view the property?

For me personally I would say a designer radiator would add a sense of value as it shows the vendor takes pride in their house and chooses quality over price.

I like pretty much like all the ranges, but the ones that strike me are the middle connection radiators. I like the difference in valves placement. One type I would like to install would be one from the Lazzarini range – these radiators look extremely on point especially if you want it to stand out and choose something different.

The first thing I would do calculate BTUs needed for the room – you wouldn’t want install a radiator that won’t heat the room.
Next would be location where you would like the radiator. What kind of space is there? Will it suit the decor? Style? Modern or traditional? Horizontal or vertical radiator?
Next would be budget. How much are you willing to spend?

I’ve seen a huge rise in customers wanting to upgrade from normal white panel radiators to designer radiators over the last year or so.

They often give out more heat than standard radiators, help enhance the decoration of a room with the style and colour chosen.

Vertical radiators also help give out more heat where once you may of had a sofa in-front of a normal standard radiator which would absorb most of the heat being emitted. The vertical radiator will be more exposed, therefore give out more heat.

My favourite radiator at the moment are the anthracite traditional triple column radiators, these give the property a sense of character with the colour giving a modern twist and more than enough heat.

A couple of things anyone considering upgrading their radiator is firstly are the walls suitable to take the weight of it? (May need reinforcing).
Check the btu’s you require for the room (I always go a little larger, you can always turn the TRV down).
And thirdly, Pipework! The less on show, the better.

BestHeating offer a great service with a high quality of product. Each time I’ve ordered it’s been stress free and delivery as been super quick. Even when I’ve had a radiator come damaged, the issue has been rectified very quickly and without too much of an issue.

The best thing about shopping with BestHeating is the wide range of radiators on offer, and the long length of warranty each radiator holds.

The trade scheme is helpful as you can always speak to a member of the best heating trade team if you have any questions.

Everyone seems to be going with designer radiators now when they are on show, for example in kitchens, bathrooms and hallways. They can really add to a room as opposed to a standard radiator. They are generally a bit more expensive than the standard radiators but definitely worth it if you want to add a feature to a room.

Our favourite range currently is the Milano Windsor range. It’s a lovely traditional column radiator.

Our top tip is to always calculate your rooms needs on the btu calculator and go slightly over the amount needed. No one wants to be cold.

Designer radiators are being asked for all the time, people either choose vertical rads to suit their furniture. Or, make features within the room itself. I think everyone is different when it comes to what range they like, as some like modern clean cut lines, and some like the “old school” column style. I think designer radiators could definitely add value or help sell a home.
